The electro-engineering sector and the specialties related to it (mostly Electronics and Electrical Engineering) have strong traditions in Bulgaria. Each year about 2000 students graduate and receive a diploma from specialized vocational schools. In order to be competitive on the labor market after their graduation, they have to keep up with the latest achievements in electro-engineering - they must have both a solid theoretical base and practical skills to handle them with. Therefore, their school preparation is of particular importance, which at this time is insufficient. |
For its part, Italy is famous for its advanced electro-engineering industry, which employs some of the most highly qualified employees in Europe, after those from Germany. Knowing the Italian teaching methodologies will give a clear parallel to the similarities and differences between the two VET systems, highlighting the good practices of the Italian model.
The right choice of 30 participants in the mobility is essential for the effective and successful implementation of the project.
A preliminary linguistic and cultural preparation of the participants was carried out for their easier adaptation in the host country Italy and for the successful realization of the project activities.
The mobility was conducted in the period 25 June - 5 July 2017.
After completing the 7-day professional training in Sicily, Italy, each participant in the project was officially awarded with the Europass Mobility certificate issued by the host organization Promimpresa srl.
